The pilot of this Yokosuka E14Y seaplane was Nobuo Fujita. Although Fujita had dropped a bomb just a few miles from Bookings, Oregon, twenty years after the war Fujita was invited to Bookings. He developed an excellent relationship with the town and was made an honorary citizen of the town days before his death.
