This photo was originally printed backwards! It has been flipped to show the viewpoint for that time period -- but notice the backwards words in the lower right hand corner. This photo was taken just above where the library (what was the Lopez School in this photo), is today. The methodist church was moved down and became an addition to the Congregational church. The Lopez Purity Store is the present day Fudge Factory, the Homestead House is still located where it is in the photo, as is the Cadwell home. Hutch's Store, Irene's House, the Creamery and the Butler place are no longer there. The typed labels were added for clarity.
